The founders of tank started a magazine for the reason all great magazines begin: because the one they wanted to read didn’t exist. tank came into being, and continues to thrive, as a home for imagery from the worlds of fashion, architecture, art, photojournalism and design and for words that stretch the limit of traditional magazine content.

It is gloriously glossy, but also proudly reflective. Many back issues are scarce; much of its acclaimed content has never been seen elsewhere. This second collection from Tank‘s pages, covering four years of striking work, is a permanent record of its capacity to invent and surprise.
