Creating an order online
- You may order a title at any time, subject to availability (see below), by clicking the 'Add to basket' button.
Your order is displayed on the 'View Basket' page, which shows you the quantities you have ordered and prices.
You may amend your order on this page at any time before it is sent to us.
To remove an item click the 'Remove' button. To change the quantity ordered just retype the figure, the page will automatically update.
You may click your browser's 'Back' button to return to where you were in the catalogue or click 'Continue Shopping' to take you back to the main catalogue to continue to browse the site.
If you have a discount code from one of our special promotions please enter it here.
When you have finished shopping, return to 'View Basket' and check that your list is complete, then click 'Order' to complete the ordering process
Completing your order
• Add your Address Information.
Fields marked * must be completed before you can continue.
You may enter a delivery address different from you billing address, or click the 'Billing Address same as Delivery Address' button.
• Click 'Continue'
Delivery costs are then calculated and, for orders outside the UK, you will be offered a choice of delivery methods. In the UK, parcels will be sent by Royal Mail if under 1.8 Kg, or via DPD Couriers if over 1.8 Kg. Please note that DPD will require a signature on delivery.
Availability and delivery costs are then calculated and displayed on the 'Order Completion' page which allows you to make a final check on what you have ordered and to see the total which will be debited from your card, including postage and packing costs, VAT where applicable and any Discounts applied.
• Payment Details
Please complete your card details and 'Submit Order'. Once your details are submitted there will be a short delay while your card details are processed and verified.

Order Confirmation
Your Order Reference number will be advised in your order confirmation. This number must be quoted in any communication with us about your order.
Payment options
LBS accepts most major credit/debit cards. However, we are sorry, LBS is unable at present to accept Solo, Electron or Diners cards.

Security
Your credit card details are only seen and processed by Littlehampton Book Services Ltd. LBS is the distributor for Thames & Hudson titles. When your card is charged it will show on your statement as 'Littlehampton Book Services'.
Terms and Conditions of Sale
Please read our Terms & Conditions, which are made available in full during the ordering process. By placing an order and by providing Thames & Hudson with your credit/debit card details you are agreeing to the Terms & Conditions as shown on this site, together with the **Legal Notice and **Privacy Policy.
VAT
VAT (Value Added Tax), is charged on most goods and services in the UK and throughout the EEC.
In the UK, VAT on books is currently zero rated. VAT is however currently applicable in the UK on some items, such as CD’s, calendars and diaries, at the standard rate.
If you purchase a book and an item such as a CD on one order, VAT will be applied only to the item for which VAT is liable. The post and packing cost on such an order will also be liable for VAT, currently at the standard rate.
For customers ordering from within the EEC we are currently required by law to collect VAT on your order at the rate applicable in the UK.
For all other customers (non EEC), your order is not subject to VAT in the UK, but may be liable for local customs duties and taxes, for which you will be liable.
Local Customs Duties and Taxes Information
You are liable for any import duties and local taxes, levied on the parcel when it reaches you. Thames & Hudson cannot be liable for any such duties and taxes
Postage and Packing
Postage costs can only be calculated once your delivery address has been entered with your order. The total cost of your order including postage is displayed at the final stage of the ordering process.
Availability
Titles which are shown as 'Not Yet Published' or 'Temporarily Out of Stock' may only be ordered by telephone from Mailorders at LBS Ltd +44(0) 1903 828503. Please have your credit card details ready when you telephone. The order will be placed on the dues system and supplied as soon as available. Your card will not be charged until the order has been dispatched.
Sales to authors
