Michael Petry is an American artist, curator and author and is the Director of The Museum of Contemporary Art, London London. His books include 'Installation Art' and 'Installation Art in the New Millennium', both published by Thames & Hudson. In 2010 he became the first artist in residence at Sir John Soane’s Museum, London.
He lectures part time at the Royal College of Art and the Royal Academy Schools and was Guest Curator at the KunstAkademi, Oslo, and Research Fellow at the University of Wolverhampton. 'The Trouble with Michael', a monograph of his artistic practice was published by ArtMedia Press in 2001.
