eBooks and Digital

Digital publishing is changing the way many people enjoy their books.
Because Thames & Hudson’s titles are often heavily illustrated with complex layouts, we are selectively building a digital publication programme, to the highest possible standards, as technology develops.

A number of our titles, across a range of subjects – art, advertising, biography, literature, reference, history, archaeology, science and music – are already available for major devices and retailers such as Kindle, iTunes and Kobo, with more to follow.

Some of our eBooks, such as The Rolling Stones 50, have been welcomed for their enhanced qualities and our first iPad app Cyclepedia was iTunes App of the Week, attracting rave reviews.

Given the dynamic nature of digital publishing, Thames & Hudson is always open to suggestions for new ideas and technologies. If you are unable to find an eBook version in any of the major online retailers, please contact
