Wally Olins

Wally Olins is recognised as perhaps the world’s most experienced brand practitioner. Wally is chairman of Saffron. He co-founded the brand consultancy Wolff Olins.

At Saffron, Wally has worked with the Government of Poland, Lloyd’s of London and the Royal Opera House among others. At Wolff Olins, he led the team that reinvented the BT brand. Other clients included Orange, 3i, Akzo Nobel, Tata, Repsol, Q8, The Portuguese Tourist Board, Prudential, Renault and Volkswagen. He has been a visiting lecturer at the Saïd Business School at Oxford, Lancaster University and Copenhagen Business School and is a frequent commentator on branding. He has written seven books including the seminal Corporate Identity, first published in 1989. His most recent, The Brand Handbook, was published in June 2008.

Born in London and educated at Oxford, Wally was awarded a CBE in 1999.
