Joshua Frydman received his doctorate from Yale University in 2014. He is currently Assistant Professor of Japanese at the University of Oklahoma in the United States. A specialist in ancient Japan, he works on topics ranging from the history of East Asian writing to the development of early literary works in the seventh and eighth centuries. Japanese mythology has been a passion of his for over a decade, and he relishes the chance to share them with the world
