Roger Luckhurst lives and works in London. He is the author of The Invention of Telepathy, The Mummy's Curse and Zombies: A Cultural History, and has edited several classic Gothic novels by Bram Stoker, Robert Louis Stevenson and H. P. Lovecraft for Oxford World's Classics. He is the Geoffrey Tillotson Professor of Nineteenth Century Studies at Birkbeck College.
