About the Author
Maria Rivans is a collage artist based in Brighton, UK. She curated the images in the hugely successful Extraordinary Things to Cut Out and Collage (2020), has exhibited her work internationally, and created a book and three unique jigsaw puzzles. Known for its surreal approach, Maria’s collages are in a constant dialogue with cultures of the past, reinventing narratives while spinning bizarre and dreamlike tales.
