About the Authors
Catherine Ard is the author and editor of over 100 books for children on subjects ranging from astronauts to elephants, opera to magicians. She lives in Bristol and combines her passion for books with her love of the great outdoors. Maria Surducan is an award-winning illustrator and comic book creator based in Romania. She has illustrated several picture books, board games and comic books, and was awarded the Alfabéta Award in 2020 from the Hungarian Comics Association, and the Vladimir Colin SF-Fantasy Award in 2021.
