From the team behind the award-winning The Pencil and The Runaway Dinner comes this riotous story about a very unlucky book. For children aged 5

A book about books and all the things that can go wrong when you make one, by the picture book dream team that produced The Pencil and Hooray for Bread.
‘Hello there! I’m Allan Ahlberg. Here I am with my friend, Bruce Ingman. We’re hard at work on our latest book, Crocodile Snap!, all about a desperate, crafty, sneaking crocodile. But as you can see, things aren’t quite going according to plan…’

Books are fun to read – and they can be even more fun to make. At least normally they are. But sometimes things get in the way – like squashed flies, hungry snails and curious cats – and before long what should be the best book ever is turning out to be the worst book ever.

Find out how to make a book and what it’s like when everything that can go wrong does go wrong in this charming and entertaining story.
