Award-winning designer Sean Adams presents over 100 case studies of environmental graphics and murals from around the world.

Supergraphics can be found everywhere in the modern urban environment, from galleries to car parks, from offices to shops. These large-scale graphics are used in architectural delineation, wayfinding and identifying signage, illustrative murals and corporate branding.

The Field Guide to Supergraphics introduces over sixty of the best examples from around the world. It explains what makes these projects so successful, breaking down their function and their distinctive visual language. Divided into four sections ? typographic, graphic, colour and vernacular ? and featuring interviews with several leading practitioners, this is a visually stunning and highly informative guide to the rapidly developing supergraphic world.
